Real Estate's Underbelly

Wednesday 6th May 2009

The house used as drug dealer Terry Baron’s home in the TV show Underbelly: A Tale Of Two Cities is on the market through Max Walls International with hopes of achieving more than $2 million.

The unrenovated 1970s house in beachside Freshwater has stunning ocean views, but could do with a spruce up inside.

While the telly series dramatises Melbourne’s bloody gangland wars, the real-life matriarch of the Moran underworld family is house hunting for a crime-free home in Noosa.

Judy Moran has told New Idea that after losing her husband Lewis and sons Mark and Jason during the crime wars, she is looking to buy a house on Queensland’s relaxing Sunshine Coast.

The Moran family matriarch longs for her grandchildren to grow up away from Melbourne, and show them how much their fathers loved the beach.
